How does Molyslip 2001G work?
The molybdenum disulphide coating that forms on mating gear surfaces, acts as an effective cushion for the intermittent and often extreme loadings that can occur in gear and transmission systems, so reducing point loads, absorbing shock stresses, and in turn protecting against surface chipping or gear tooth fracture. Oil temperatures will be lower as a result of reduced internal friction, and that contributes to the overall efficiency and running economy.
